'Indian Strain' of Coronavirus Found in 17 Countries, Says WHO
The B.1.617 variant of SARS-CoV2 or the 'Indian strain', feared to be contributing to a surge in coronavirus cases in India, has been designated as the Variants of Interest by WHO.
As per a directive issued by Maldivian government, they are suspending tourists travelling from India to Maldives from staying at tourist facilities in inhabited islands. The order will be in force from April 27. https://ift.tt/3aEFUXr
