In the Northeast, the AFSPA is in force in Assam, Nagaland, Manipur (excluding Imphal municipal council area), Changlang, Longding and Tirap districts of Arunachal Pradesh, and areas under eight police stations in Arunachal Pradesh, bordering Assam.
